cutlery crush

Kinda smitten with this.

And this.

And this, too.

All from Cath Kidston, of course.

{Don't know if even I could rationalize even considering making this purchase}

Are you smitten over any household objects these days?
Please share!

Hi, Elyse,
I am smitten with these pretty cutlery pieces, too. Don't you love Cath Kidston? I love the sweet prints she uses on so many of her things. I am smitten with dishes, too, especially handpainted china. It can be an addiction!!! It is always a pleasure to visit your sweet cottage. Enjoy your Friday, my friend, and have a lovely weekend. Sending love and hugs to you~ Vicki

Oh. My. Complete love. Wish I'd never seen those, Elyse! So glad you were able to get them, though--so perfect for you!

I'm currently in love with some vintage jadeite-handled kitchen utensils that my Mom has in a cute holder on her counter...they belonged to my grandmother and I wish they belonged to me! At least I can love them at Mom's house!

Hope you're having a wonderful week!

I agree that cutlery is very pretty! Cath Kidston does have some lovely designs. My nearest store is Bath and I always make a point of popping in to have a look at what they have.
Have a lovely weekend

I just love Cath Kidston! How sad that there are no CK shops here in the Netherlands! But Greengate is a good alternative. I am totally in love with their new winter collection, especially the cupcake christmas decorations!

Enjoy your weekend!

They are so YOU, lol. We have to use this stuff every day, why not make it beautiful. I use Mrs. Meyers cleaning products in Geranium scent so that I feel gorgeous(ish) whilst cleaning!

Oh yes, Cath obsession for the better part of this decade. My blog has inadvertantly become a Cath Kidston devotee page! :)

But what is to be done about the S&H?! Way back when, CK had NY and LA stores and one could order direct from those... but now? One pays more for shipping than for the item you're purchasing!

Happy to see a growing number of US Cath fans commenting, fingers crossed they cut us a deal one day :)

Elyse,

If you love it you should get it! It's too cute! Plus, isn't it on sale?

I can always rationalize purchasing goods from Ms. Cath Kidston!

Well, Miss Cath Kidston fan, perhaps a little Etsy money could go toward this purchase? Not that I am enabling you or anything...

Don't you love the word "smitten" - old-fashioned words like that make me happy. Another I like is "woo" - I might have to make a list of them.

What beauty! I am trying to be smitten with what I already own since we have had to replace three appliances lately. It really cut into my "splurge" money. Hope you have a lovely weekend!

This flatware is just too cute! I could have 1 of everything in Cath Kidstons line!

I keep trying to stop looking at cute catalogs - still can't pass up a beautiful piece of rose dish ware though! (After TRYING to do a budget I think I better put blinders on so I won't find more of that even!)

Crazy, I was just looking at Cath Kidston. I think she is wonderful and apparently they used to sell her things in the US...no more.

That flatware...yummy! I would love some, too!!!

Hugs,

Love, love, love those too! There are more and more manufacturers copying Cath Kidston now and I'm loving seeing all the prettiness. Crushing on a set of melamine dishes in Country Living July/Aug. issue pg. 96 that are from victoriantradingco.com. Soooo pretty!

PS- my family thinks I've lost it, there are three pieces of fabric spread on the lawn to sun-fade them. Pretty florals from Wallyworld that are beginning to look really sweet and faded!

Oh, I want that cutlery! I wish we could get CK here in the US, without taking out a second mortgage! lol

Love that! I have a cutlery crush too only it is from Pottery Barn and would cost me aprox $1200 for service for 12. Do you think that will be happening any time soon?

I've been putting together my own little summer crush list that I will be sharing next week. Stay tuned!

Ok...now, I don't want to be that little satan sitting on your shoulder...but, well, you already know I am, so...I see that they happen to be on sale...and using my handy-dandy converter that comes out to $18-ish.I know you have to multiply that by 3 for forks, knives & spoons...but even if you only used them 5 times per week...amortize that over a year and that comes out to mere pennies per day! ;}
